David Chen, Esq.

David Chen is a licensed attorney and Legal Review Director at Legal Tank. He oversees document accuracy, state-specific compliance, and legal content review across all Legal Tank publications. Mr. Chen holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining Legal Tank, he spent six years in transactional law at a midsize New York firm focused on commercial contracts, corporate formation, and real estate transactions.

As Legal Review Director, David is responsible for the legal accuracy of every document template, tool output, and published guide on the Legal Tank platform. His review process covers state-specific statutory requirements, enforceability standards, and compliance with current federal and state regulations across all 50 U.S. states. He works closely with Editor-in-Chief Jessica Henwick to maintain rigorous editorial and legal standards.
