Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

Secure Your Account with 2FA

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Legal Tank account. When enabled, you will need both your password and a verification code from your authenticator app to sign in.

How to Enable

  1. Go to Settings in your dashboard
  2. Click "Security" tab
  3. Toggle on "Two-Factor Authentication"
  4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  5. Enter the 6-digit code to verify setup
  6. Save your backup codes in a secure location

Backup Codes

When you enable 2FA, you will receive backup codes. Store these securely as they can be used to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
